Our Name

Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood

"Burnham" is in honor of Daniel Burnham, the famed architect and urban planner best known as author of Plan of Chicago and architect of Washington's Union Station and New York's Flatiron building. Burnham dedicated his life to re-imagining the urban environment - to view cities not as they were, but as they could be. His legacy reminds us to dream big and to follow those dreams with meticulous planning & rigorous execution.

"Resources" - Much like the prospectors and wildcatters that built America's first resource companies could look at a rock and see the precious metals that lay within, at Burnham we can see the resources of the future buried within "trash" and our job is to bring those resources to market.
